We are pleased to announce continued service to police professionals as the successor of Commonwealth Police Service, Inc.

Commonwealth Police Legacy, Inc. will carry on the professionalism, commitment and dedication of Attorney Patrick M. Rogers in his memory and will strive to serve the community of police he cared about so deeply - it was indeed, his legacy to the police profession.

A message from Dr. Elizabeth Sullivan

It is with great enthusiasm, and on behalf of my beloved Patrick Michael Rogers, the founder of Commonwealth Police Service, Inc., that I whole-heartedly endorse Commonwealth Police Legacy, Inc. and Paula Heagney.

When I began working for Pat in 1996, I was immediately impressed by his unwavering dedication to improve the image of law enforcement in the state of Massachusetts through meaningful training. Pat's priority was always to assist officers in understanding the very complex facets of Massachusetts criminal procedure and criminal law.

Years later, when I became an educator myself, and right up to his death, he and I often discussed our passion for teaching and the powerful feeling one experiences when one can see in a student's eyes that he or she "gets it"—really gets it.

Pat is shining down on CPL, Inc. and its commitment to providing training that helps dedicated members of the law enforcement community to understand their powers and responsibilities. Paula and the talented instructors she employs "get it" and will continue to honor Pat's legacy as the BEST.
